- Has extensive resources for scientific research and advanced technology.
- Tries to warn Earth about the approaching battle, but is not taken seriously.
- Discovers the orbital battle through his satellite feed and cannot reach his friend Professor Adun.
- Sees reports of missing people across Nigeria before being lifted away in a bright white light. His captor is not revealed.
Inside the character.
Appearance & clothing
Late forties, close-cropped hair, a short salt-and-pepper beard and dark glasses. An indigo collarless jacket with woven details becomes his everyday uniform.
Personality
Restlessly curious, dryly funny and direct. He sketches while he listens and grows unusually quiet when a calculation frightens him.
Motivation
He believes scientific privilege brings a responsibility to protect others. His first concern is the people who live beyond his laboratory walls.
Scientific strengths
A proposed focus on radio astronomy, materials science and distributed energy systems. His team combines disciplines instead of depending on one miraculous invention.
Limits & weaknesses
Money cannot buy public trust. His impatience can alienate allies, and his instruments can detect an anomaly without explaining its intention.
History & environment
One possibility: an engineer who built his fortune developing resilient power systems. A research campus near Ibadan is a location proposal, not established canon.
Role in the conflict
A possible first bridge between Earth and the Alizean. He could help humanity prepare while learning that protection requires listening as much as warning.
Room to grow.
Episode 1 establishes his discovery through the satellite feed and ends with his disappearance. Episode 2 shows his recorded warning reaching John’s friends; it does not establish his return. A possible longer arc takes him from an isolated witness to a collaborator who helps people understand the evidence; what happens after the light remains open.
